Allied Psychological Services
Helping you grow at home, at work and in the community.
JULY 2020 Updates
Dear clients, potential clients, agencies and members of the public. We understand that the current health situation continues to be stressful and difficult on many levels. We have started a gradual and cautious return to in person meetings. We will continue to provide services via phone and secure video link when possible and will provide face-to-face services when necessary. If scheduled for an in person meeting we would ask that you ensure you do not have any symptoms of a cold and/or flu and that you have not knowingly be in contact with anyone known to have COVID in the past 14 days. If you are not able to ensure your health in this regard, we will re-book your appointment or arrange for a meeting using video/phone.
You will be expected to use personal PPE in the building and in public spaces (waiting room and washroom).
Anti-Black Racism Statement
Anti-black racism, defined as prejudice, attitudes, beliefs, stereotyping or discrimination that is directed at people of African descent and is rooted in their unique history and experience of enslavement and colonization, has no place at Allied Psychological Services and we denounce it any organizations, institutions or in our society. We stand alongside the statements that were released by the Canadian Psychological Association and the Ontario Psychological Association in denouncing anti-black racism, discrimination and hatred as it impacts the mental health, well being, and quality of life for the African Canadian community.
