Charmaine McIntosh holds a Doctor of Pyschology in Clinical Psychology from the Adler University in Chicago, Illinois. She is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). Charmaine works with children, adolescents, and adults from diverse ethno-racial backgrounds providing individual, couples, and family therapy. 

Charmaine works from a holistic and client-centred approach in a space that is culturally sensitive, encouraging, supportive, and helping people on their journey to wellbeing. Her therapeutic approaches include Adlerian, Christian (for those who wish to incorporate their faith), Cognitive Behaviour, Dialectical Behaviour, Family and Marital, Mindfulness, and Trauma Informed. 
 
Charmaine has experience co-facilitating psychoeducational groups (anger management, teen mothers, children impacted by domestic violence, partner assault response), conducting critical incident stress management (trauma debriefings/defusings), and teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Charmaine also has her own private practice where she provides psychotherapy, assessments, coaching, and wellness groups.  
 
Charmaine is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association, American Psychological Association, International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology, and the Canadian Art Therapy Association.
