Vidhi is a Master’s-level practicum student. She is completing her Masters of Psychology from Adler Graduate Professional School, Toronto. She completed her Master of Science in Developmental Psychology from Sheffield Hallam University, UK, and worked as a therapist in India before relocating to Toronto, Canada.
During her work as a therapist, Vidhi has worked with adolescents and adults experiencing a range of difficulties including anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, sleep problems, life changes and transitions, and academic/work-related stress. She integrates a variety of evidence-based modalities to best suit her client’s needs, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Mindfulness and Acceptance-Based approaches. Vidhi views the therapeutic relationship as integral to successful psychotherapy, adopting a genuine, empathetic, and non-judgmental style with her clients. She strives to deeply attune to her clients’ experiences, providing a sense of safety that facilitates emotional exploration.
